Please present your e-ticket at the meeting point before boarding the shuttle. Shuttles depart approximately every 5 minutes between 13:00 and 15:00. The final shuttle departs at 16:00.
14:30–17:30 | Arrival and Festival Activities

1. Which date should I choose: November 24th or 25th, 2026?
The two festival days follow the same schedule, featuring traditional ceremonies, cultural performances, and the breathtaking mass lantern release. Each night welcomes around 20,000 participants, so both offer an equally spectacular sight.
That said, there are subtle differences:
- Day 2 often runs more smoothly. After the first night, organizers fine-tune the flow, making the second evening slightly better in terms of coordination and crowd management.
- Day 1 offers more flexibility if you'd also like to experience celebrations in Chiang Mai Old City, such as the parade, candle-lighting ceremonies, and floating lanterns on the Ping River.
2. Where is the CAD venue, and how do I get there?
The event takes place at the CAD Cultural Center Lanna, about 45 minutes from Chiang Mai Old Town. Your ticket includes round-trip transfer, with the meeting point. We recommend arriving early, around 1–2 PM, to avoid crowds.
3. Are the lanterns environmentally friendly?
Yes! The lanterns are made from biodegradable materials like recycled paper and bamboo. They meet local government standards and are designed to avoid fire hazards.
Additionally, experienced staff will gather and safely dispose of lanterns within 48 hours after the event, ensuring the area remains clean.
